You couldent walk, you couldent talk
You couldent cry, you couldent smile
You couldent read, you couldent write
You had a beautiful mom, a fun dad, a brother that was always there and a sister that helped you out
You may not have been able to speak, to talk about how you felt
But I could tell by your eyes, that you were in pain
You wernt very social, but you had a large family
Each and everyone was there, when you laid in that hospital bed
As you drew your last breath, everyone else began to cry
I never saw the real you untill that faitful day,
You were being drowned in pain and sorrow, jealousy and sadness
Your parents decided to let you go, why oh why did they pull the plug
Was it because you were in pain
Or because it was to expensive for the required surgery
Even though I hadent seen you too many times
and I couldent understand your grumbles and moans
You made me laugh, you made me cry
I never thought it could be this hard to say
Goodbye

My cousin just passed away,
He was only 18, and he had Autism
I wrote this poem for him
